We thank all of the artists who submitted to the 2021 Grand Prize art call. We are excited to share that artists entered over 2300 artworks for review. Artists hailed from Argentina, Australia, Bangladesh, Belgium, Chile, Denmark, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Korea, Macedonia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Philippines, Poland, Russian Federation, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Uganda, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and United States.

Call Summary
This call has no theme, but we are biased towards submissions that demonstrate a clear visual approach and consistency that is recognizably yours. This art call allows you to submit up to 20 images. All your entries are eligible for the grand prize award, but you must designate any work that should also be considered for the purchase award. Please know that it is better to submit 3 images that work well together and show your unique approach than 20 images that are not a cohesive body of work.
Open to all media except moving images (i.e. video, gifs, movies).
Artists who are 18 or older, of any nationality, working in original visual media (excluding video and other time-based media), are eligible.
Grand Prize Cash Award of $5,000
One artist will be awarded the Grand Prize Award at the conclusion of this call.
Purchase Award of $1,000*
One artist will be awarded the Purchase Award at the conclusion of this call (see previous winners).
$4,000 in Artist Websites Powered by FolioLink*
12 artists will be awarded one year of FolioLink artist website service which includes the option for a discounted subscription after the first year.
Additional Artist Exposure
Submitting artists (including the Purchase Award winner) may be invited to have their own in-depth Artist Profile Page, have their work included in the CollexArt Store and in the curated Online Exhibit Space.
* Purchase Award
The Purchase Award is intended to support the selected artists with meaningful recognition as part of the CollexArt Private Patron Collection. When submitting artwork to this call for entry, you can identify artwork for the Purchase Award and/or for CollexArt Exhibition.
The Purchase Award of $1000 will be given to one artist. If an artwork you tagged for the Purchase Award is selected for this award, you understand that the CollexArt Patrons intend to acquire your work for $1,000. Artists submitting for the Purchase Award should value their work in accordance with prior sales history or the amount a gallery would pay for your work without their commission fee added. Please note that it is possible that one person is awarded both the Grand Prize Award and the Purchase Award.
CollexArt pays for the shipping of all artwork acquired through the Purchase Award. In the case of an international acquisition, CollexArt Patrons pay for customs and importation fees.

To qualify for a FolioLink Website Award you must be a full time student or full time art teacher or art professor.
Rules & Guidelines
Eligibility
Open to all USA and International artists 18 years and older
Accepting all original visual media excluding video, film and animated Gifs
Submitted Work
All submissions must be original artwork conceived and produced by the artist
All submissions must be free from copyright infringement
If submitting photography we will ask for release forms if needed
Only digital files are accepted through the CollexArt submission system (powered by SubmitArts)
Images must be saved and submitted as JPGs
Images must be no larger than 2000 pixels on the longest side
Images must be 5MB or less
If you do not have a SubmitArts account to enter your work, you will establish one with your submission
Entry Fee
The entry fee is $35.00 for up to 10 images and $2 each for each additional image. Submission fees are not refundable. You can request to apply the $35 submission fee towards a CollexArt membership.

Copyright
Artists maintain all copyrights to submitted artwork. Artists grant permission to Kodexio (CollexArt developer / owner) to store submission images and related collected data for submission management purposes and to offer jurors a way to review and select submissions. In addition, these images may appear in a CollexArt Grand Prize 2021 website that showcases selected submissions and invites the public to select favorites.
Submitted Work Image Usage Rights
If your work is selected for a CollexArt award or any other type of recognition and or benefit (artist profile, sponsored website, etc.), you grant Kodexio (CollexArt developer / owner) and CollexArt Art Patrons (independent CollexArt Collection owners) a license to use your submission to promote and showcase its website, activities, locations, and to achieve its mission. Therefore, you grant Kodexio and CollexArt Art Patrons a non-exclusive, royalty free, irrevocable, worldwide perpetual license to use, publish, modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works, distribute and display your work and submission information, including your name and Country/State/Province, in their related websites, advertising, and promotional materials.
