COLOR SENSE
CollexArt is pleased to announce the results of Color Sense.
We wish to thank all of the artists who submitted to Color Sense. We received works from painters, photographers, printmakers, stained glass artists, mixed media artists, digital artists, textile artists, and sculptors. Artists hailed from Australia, Bangladesh, Belgium, Benin, Brazil, Canada, Georgia, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Korea, Mexico, Panama, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Russian Federation, Singapore, Thailand, Uganda, United Kingdom, and the United States.
Artists submitted works exploring color and color interaction or used color as part of their focus as they address themes of political unrest, instability and uncertainty. Artist, Tom Jessen, used color as part of a playful exploration and introduced an element of chance in the creation of his works.
